Luke J. Widich, President & Founder
Luke began his career in the active-duty U.S. Air Force in 2003, serving as an Acquisitions & Contracting Specialist and warranted contracting officer until 2007. During his career he was the contracting officer for a 10-year / $400M Base Engineering and Renovation Requirements contract at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan. Luke also managed sensitive communication acquisition programs for the 1st of the 1st SOG at Torri Station. After his honorable discharge in 2007, Luke attended Pitt Law School and subsequently worked for Carnegie Mellon University in their inaugural Contracts' Office, leading more than 1,000 transactions per year, and supporting more than 50 colleges or departments. From 2010-2012 Luke worked for the U.S. Treasury Department, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, specializing in acquisition & financial program management and process improvement, and then began consulting in 2012, working as a Senior Manager for Financial Services and Products for a DC-based small business specializing in Federal capture, revenue cycle management, and financial and accounting services.
In 2015 Luke began working with Tetra Tech, Inc., a leading global engineering and technical consulting firm, and by 2019 was appointed Vice President of Contracts & Commercial Risk Management. He works day-to-day overseeing Federal contracts and acquisitions, corporate risk reviews, project controls & internal audit, commercial risk management, cost and pricing, and procurement functions for multiple business units with combined revenues of $600M/yr. Luke has as approved capture of more than $500M in contract capacity and has overseen more than $4 Billion in total contract portfolio capacity.
Luke holds a B.A. in American Government & Policy from Juniata College, M.Sc. International Relations & Security Studies, Troy Univ., M.A. Law (Contracts & Commercial), Pitt Law School, and an M.B.A. from McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. He is professionally published in the Heinz Journal of Policy, and holds professional certifications in LSS Greenbelt, FAC-C 2, DAWIA 2, CCEP, and CIA. Luke resides in Pittsburgh, PA, with his wife and four children, loves traveling and cooking, is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, hobby painter-artist, and volunteer youth soccer and basketball coach.
Jennifer L. Widich, Vice President, Administration & People
Jennifer began as an elementary school teacher before taking time for raising her family and eventually transitioning into administration, compliance, and people services. She has been in Director roles at early childhood centers, and a private school in Pittsburgh, PA. Currently, she oversees all of XEBEC's registrations, certifications, insurance, reporting, compliance, and people programs, processes, and procedures.
She holds a B.A. in Teaching from Juniata College, loves the outdoors, traveling, cooking, ballet, arts, and raising her four children with her husband where they live in Pittsburgh, PA.
